Auxcura is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. We aim to apply recognized accessibility practices across our design and development process, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing responsibility rather than a one-time task.
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as our general reference point when designing and building pages on this Site. This includes considerations such as colour contrast, readable typography, semantic structure, and clear focus states. We are working toward this standard across the Site and may not have reached full conformance on every page.
We aim to make interactive elements, such as navigation menus, buttons, and form fields, operable using a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator so you can track your position on the page.
Our visual design uses a defined colour system intended to meet WCAG AA contrast minimums for body text and large text, along with fluid, scalable typography so text can resize without breaking the layout.
Where practical, decorative visuals and animations are marked so assistive technologies can skip them, and we aim to provide meaningful text alternatives for informative images. If we add video or audio content in the future, we intend to provide captions or transcripts where appropriate.
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. As we add new pages, tools, and features, such as the Digital Health Check, we review them against our accessibility practices and make improvements over time.
Despite our efforts, some parts of the Site may not yet fully meet every accessibility guideline, including areas with rich animation or embedded third-party content that is outside our direct control. We are working to address known gaps as we continue to develop the Site.
