Cookie Policy

When you first visit auxcura.com, a small panel asks whether we may load analytics. There are two options and they carry equal weight:

• Accept: our analytics scripts load and the cookies listed below are set.
• Decline: no analytics scripts are loaded, no analytics cookies are set, and the panel does not appear again on this browser.

Until you choose, analytics does not load. Closing the panel without choosing is treated the same as not having chosen: nothing loads, and you will be asked again on your next visit.

You can change your mind at any time, in either direction:

Your choice is recorded in this browser, along with the date and a version number. If this policy changes in a way that materially affects what loads, the version changes and the panel asks again.

Before you make a choice, and after you decline, the only browser storage in use is what the site needs to work and to stay protected. These cannot be switched off individually without breaking the pages they belong to.

Security and delivery

• Hosting and security provider cookies: our hosting and security provider may set short-lived cookies to keep the site available and to distinguish genuine visitors from automated traffic. These are typically measured in minutes to hours rather than months. They are not used for advertising and are not used to build a profile of you.
• Form protection: the contact form and the Digital Health Check form load a bot-protection widget so that submissions can be checked for automated abuse. It may store a short-lived token or cookie in your browser for the duration of the submission. It appears only on those two pages.

Your consent record

• auxcura.consent: stored in your browser's local storage, not as a cookie. It holds your answer (accepted or declined), the date, and a version number. It stays until you change your choice or clear your site data. This is the one thing we store when you decline.

These load only after you accept. We use Google Analytics, delivered through Google Tag Manager, to understand which pages people find useful, how visitors arrive, and where pages are slow or confusing.

What is set

• _ga: set by Google Analytics to distinguish one browser from another. Persists for about two years.
• _ga_TF7NQSGWQJ: set by Google Analytics to keep session state for this specific site. Persists for about two years.
• Google Tag Manager: the container itself sets no cookies. It is a loader that fires the tags configured inside it. The container is managed separately from this website's code, so any tag added to it in future would also load only after you accept.

These cookies are read by Google as well as by us. Google acts as our analytics provider and processes the data under its own terms. We do not use the analytics data to identify you by name, and we do not combine it with the details you submit through our forms.

If you accept and later turn analytics off, we delete the analytics cookies we can reach from this site and reload the page so that nothing further is recorded.

Some preferences are kept in your browser's local storage rather than in cookies. Local storage is never sent to our servers. It stays on your device until you clear your site data.

• auxcura.consent: your analytics choice, as described above.
• auxcura.hcp.shown and auxcura.hcp.dismissed: remember that you have already seen or dismissed the Digital Health Check prompt, so it does not keep reappearing.
• imx-audio: remembers whether you turned sound on or off, if you use one of our interactive demonstration pages.

None of these contain your name, your email address, or anything that identifies you personally.

To be specific about what is absent from this website's code:

• No advertising, remarketing, or conversion pixels
• No social media tracking pixels
• No session recording, heatmaps, or mouse tracking
• No third-party embeds that load video or maps from another company
• No fonts loaded from a third-party server; our typeface is served from this site
• No payments of any kind, so no payment or card processing anywhere on the site

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-site advertising.

Cookies are only half the picture, so it is worth being plain about the rest. When you choose to submit a form, that information is sent to us regardless of your analytics choice, because it is the thing you asked us to do.

• Contact form: the details and message you enter are emailed to the Auxcura mailbox through our email delivery provider.
• Digital Health Check: your report is emailed to the address you give, a copy is sent to the Auxcura mailbox, and your contact details are added to our customer relationship system so we can follow up about the report.
• Report records: we keep an internal record of each report that runs: the date, whether it completed, the email address given, the website domain checked, and whether the emails were delivered. This is how we know which reports were produced without searching the mailbox.
• Your IP address is not stored in the clear. That record holds only a one-way hash of it, which lets us recognise repeat use of the tool without keeping the address itself. A hash is pseudonymised rather than anonymous, so we treat it as personal information and protect it accordingly.

Access to internal records is restricted to authorised Auxcura team members and protected by identity-based access controls. Internal areas are not publicly reachable and are excluded from search engines. Data sent to our hosting, email, and customer relationship providers is held under their security controls. Our Privacy Policy covers how that information is used, how long it is kept, and how to ask us to delete it.

The panel on this site controls what auxcura.com loads. Your browser gives you broader controls that apply everywhere:

• Block or delete cookies for individual sites, or for all sites, in your browser's privacy settings
• Clear site data for auxcura.com, which also clears the consent record and the preferences listed above
• Use a private or incognito window, which discards cookies and storage when you close it
• Install Google's browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics on every site you visit

Blocking essential cookies may stop the contact form or the Digital Health Check from submitting, since the bot protection on those forms depends on them.

We will update this page when the technologies on the site change. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. If a change materially affects what loads in your browser, the consent panel asks again rather than assuming your previous answer still applies.

If you have a question about anything on this page, or you would like us to delete information you have sent us, please use our contact page. You can also read our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
